Abundance analysis was done on the phase-folded spectra.
In total 38 lines used:

Abundances of Balloon are normal for an sdB star
with parameters like Balloon. High pulsation amplitudes are unlikely
to be caused by an abundance/metallicity anomaly. See poster of Geier et al.
Abundances do not change with pulsational phase.
Lines are much broader than for
non-pulsating stars (Gaussian σ &sim 17 km/s) , and line
broadening varies with pulsational phase (∼ 2 km/s amplitude).
Clear evidence for pulsational broadening of the lines.
