Pulsation-mode identification for the main mode in Balloon

  As modes with L≥3 cannot fit the observed radial-velocity amplitude for realistic values of the pulsational velocity amplitude Vmax (see Østensen et al., today), the only modes to be considered are those with L=0, L=1, and L=2.

  For stars without significant rotational broadening it is not possible to derive the sign of |M| .       Only 6 modes remain:

L=0 |M|=0
Vmax = 22 km/s
width = 22 km/s
L=1 |M|=0
Vmax = 29 km/s
width = 22 km/s
L=1 |M|=1
Vmax = 34 km/s
width = 20 km/s
L=2 |M|=0
Vmax = 50 km/s
width = 20 km/s
L=2 |M|=1
Vmax = 50 km/s
width = 20 km/s
L=2 |M|=2
Vmax = 60 km/s
width = 10 km/s
