Introduction:   How feasible is a high-spectral-resolution
line-profile analysis for subdwarfs?

Problem 1: subdwarfs have low rotational line-broadening ⇒ no Doppler imaging

Solution 1: fit a model of the 3D pulsational surface velocity field to the observed line-profile variability.       However, only L≤4 modes give detectable LPV.
