Pulsation-mode identification for the main mode in QQ Vir

For the mode-identification we use the model of Schrijvers & Telting (1998) to compute pulsational line-profile variations. For the simple fits we present here, we only account for the pulsational velocity field, and neglect the effects of temperature variations.

As modes with L≥3 cannot fit the observed radial-velocity amplitude for realistic values of the pulsational velocity amplitude Vmax, the only modes to be considered are those with L=0, L=1, and L=2.

We fit the model to the CCFs of the N III lines for each of the phase-binned spectra, for inclination angles 10 - 80 degrees.
